Dear Friends,
I wanted to send you this special edition of Point of View to let you know about two new opportunities for you to be informed about my work on the City Council.
The first opportunity is this Monday, February 4th when the Council will present the City Council’s Action Plan for 2008. This presentation will include many of the issues that I will be working on as the new chair of the Parks Committee. There are many major Parks and Seattle Center issues to work on this year and I am eager to take on the responsibilities of the Parks Committee.
The second opportunity to learn more about Council issues is the debut of a new program on the Seattle Channel, City Inside/Out: Council Edition. This new program features three City Councilmembers in each episode. C.R. Douglas moderates the discussion of city issues and poses questions from Seattle residents that are sent in via email.
I hope that you find this information helpful and informative. Please contact me at any time.
Best wishes,

Tom Rasmussen
Seattle City Councilmember
