This site is designed to reach the widest audience possible by recognizing and serving a user population with diverse electronic access capabilities. City of Seattle web pages are accessible by any computer connected to the Internet through the use of a Web browser (www.seattle.gov) or at over 24 public access work stations in several community centers connected to the City of Seattle via ISDN and high speed modem dial-up connections.

This is a link to the Adobe site where you can download and install a free copy of Acrobat Reader which is required for opening and viewing pdf PDF files.

How to Save an Adobe PDF Document PDF

Internet Explorer - This browser will automatically launch Adobe Acrobat Reader and load the document. To save the file to your hard drive, you will need to:

  1. Right click on the link to the pdf file
  2. Select Save Target As
  3. Choose a location on your local drive where you would like the file saved. The file will be saved using the Document name followed by ".pdf".

Netscape Navigator - Depending on your browser settings the document might load automatically or a pop-up window may appear.

  1. Browser will give you a warning on downloading from the Internet.
  2. Select the Save it to disk option.
  3. Choose a location where you would like the file saved. Name the file and follow the name with a ".pdf". (Example: SMCReport.pdf)
Automatically loads
  1. Right click on the link to the pdf file
  2. Select Save Link As
  3. Choose a location where you would like the file saved. The file will be saved using the Document name followed by ".pdf".
