VOLUNTEER TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Shift length = 4-5 hours
2) Most volunteers will be asked to attend at least one training session before the conference
3) All shifts will be at South Lake Union. Exceptions: Sheepdogs will attend tours and the Saturday evening volunteers will spend half the shift at Volunteer Park
Event Coordinators one person in charge of coordinating all volunteers each day (must attend 1 or more training/planning session)
Registrars/Greeters work registration table, meet-and-greet attendees, direct conference attendees
Gophers assist with presentation room set-up, maintenance and general conference tasks
Recycler maintain recycle bins at South Lake Union conference site
AV help set-up and on-site maintenance
Sheepdogs attend tours and assist with tour coordination

COMPENSATION:

OPTION 1: For each 4-5 hour shift worked, volunteers will receive the same day free.

OPTION 2: For one 4-5 hour shift worked, volunteers can register for the entire conference at the reduced student/speaker rate of $150.00

EVENT COORDINATORS: will receive the entire conference for free
