Light Impact
What is Light Impact
Light Impact is a system for managing environmental and safety workplace goals.

Environmental stewardship is a Seattle City Light core value. City Light is also committed to providing a safe workplace for all employees. Light Impact provides the structure to plan environment and safety-related goals, to take action toward meeting those goals, to check our progress and then to see where we need to improve.

Through Light Impact we will:
  • Achieve and maintain compliance with environment and safety regulations and policies.
  • Reduce negative impacts to the environment through our pollution prevention, waste management and water quality programs, and our fish and wildlife programs
  • Reduce negative impacts to worker health and safety through health and safety programs
  • Continually improve our environment and safety performance.
