Park StandardsThe Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation Standards are intended to facilitate design and construction of Seattle Parks' facilities through standard requirements. The Standards are based upon past experiences and practices that have proved successful during design, construction, operation, and maintenance of Seattle Parks' facilities. In certain situations, Consultant deviations may be acceptable provided they are approved by the Park Engineer and/or Construction Manager prior to implementation. For questions or suggestions for improving the Standards, e-mail parks.standards@seattle.gov. Revisions and updates will be posted on this website every six months, thus it is important that Consultants refer to this site at the start of each project. Consultants shall verify that Contract Documents reflect use of the most current Standards. » Getting Started Updated
