Picnics
Seattle Parks and Recreation has picnic sites in neighborhoods around the city that can be reserved for special events.

Weddings & Ceremonies
Seattle parks and gardens make pleasant and charming setting for outdoor ceremonies.

Seattle Parks and Recreation has sites and facilities to accommodate everything from small meetings to major indoor/outdoor events!

Sports Field Reservations
There are 204 Seattle Parks athletic fields that can be scheduled for various sports/activities throughout the year.

School Meeting Spaces
Community Nights In Schools is a new innovative pilot program to help neighborhood and community groups easily access schools for meetings and gatherings during weekday evenings.

Park Use Permits
A permit is required to reserve a playingfield, facility, stage or performing arts area, or to use a park for a gathering of a large number of people.

Permits for Non-Park Use of Park Property
To use park property for a non-park use—such as making repairs or changes to your property, installing or replacing utility lines, and adding or removing landscaping—you must obtain permission from the Department of Parks and Recreation.
