Proposed Court Rules for Public Comment

New or amended Seattle Municipal Court local court rules approved by Seattle Municipal Court judges will be posted below for thirty days with a deadline for public comment in accordance with GR 7.

All comments should be submitted in writing to smc_pio@seattle.gov. Received comments will be posted below the proposed rule. After the comment period closes and the court considers any comments, the court may adopt, amend, or reject the proposal or take such other action as the court deems appropriate.

SMCLIR 6.2 MONETARY PENALTY SCHEDULE FOR INFRACTIONS, (b) Schedule for Selected Parking Infractions 

Seattle Municipal Court judges have voted to amend SMCLIR 6.2(b) by adjusting the parking fines as detailed in the linked schedule, effective January 1, 2025. 

This amended court rule is open for public comment through October 31, 2024.
